Bursky signs on at SarahCare center

Tammie Gursky recently joined SarahCare Adult Day Center of Sarasota as its assistant director and occupational therapist.

Gursky has worked as a therapist in the Sarasota area for more than 10 years; she specializes in the area of geriatrics involving people with both cognitive and physical impairments.

Allegra gains license and moves office

Connie Allegra, owner of Sarasota Interior Design Group, recently became a Florida Licensed Interior Designer and a professional member of the International Interior Design Association.

Also, Sarasota Interior Design Group has moved its office within the same building complex to 6665 S. Orange Ave., Suite 2, Sarasota, along with the firm's art gallery, Sarasota Art for Humanity Gallery.

Foundation board elects Koepsel

Ron Koepsel, a principal at Sarasota-based Sabal Trust Co., has been elected to the All Children's Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees.

All Children's, which is based in St. Petersburg, operates All Children's Specialty Care of Sarasota, an 18,000-square-foot outpatient center at 5881 Rand Blvd.

New magazine will focus on Venice

Kendall Jones recently announced that she plans to launch in February Venice Magazine, a glossy lifestyle magazine covering the greater Venice area.

Eye doctor named to national board

Dr. Julia Carter of The Eye Associates in Sarasota was named a board certified diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology.
